PEC activity : Forming various angles using body parts.

Students enjoyed forming various angles using body parts such as fingers, hands, arms, legs, feet etc.
For example, in the above picture they are forming 
1. straight angle using their arms.
2. obtuse angle using their hands.
3. right angle using their legs.
4. acute angle using their arms.

Maths Activity - Understanding terms related to circle by paper folding

Students folded the circle in half to learn the terms - semi-circle as well as the diameter.Next they folded it again to learn and understand the terms - quarter-circle and radius.They were able to appreciate that 1. All the diameters of the circle are equal.2. The distance of the centre to any point on the circle is always 

    the same which is called radius. 3. Radius is always half the diameter.

Class Assembly on the Topic "Teacher's Day" held on 4th September, 2013

 

On the occasion of teacher's day, students of Class VA presented the assembly including the news, thought of the day and a play.

Students also entertained everyone by presenting a song for the teachers who teach them -

The assembly (especially the song) was highly appreciated by the respected Principal mam, the teachers and the students.
