Maths Activity - Understanding terms related to circle by paper folding
Students folded the circle in half to learn the terms - semi-circle as well as the diameter.Next they folded it again to learn and understand the terms - quarter-circle and radius.They were able to appreciate that 1. All the diameters of the circle are equal.2. The distance of the centre to any point on the circle is always
the same which is called radius. 3. Radius is always half the diameter.
